What type of expenses can be determined via an eligibility to claim form that falls under the relocation process?

There are 4 different categories:

1. Removal of Personal/Household Effects – this may also include search costs for accommodation.

2. House Sale/ Purchase Costs – where a previous property is being sold to fund the purchase of a new one.

3. Continuing Commitments - when expenses are incurred on two properties simultaneously. This category can also include the cost of weekly visits home.

4. Excess Travel – for travel to a hospital more than 17 miles from your home address (please see here for rules for London-based trainees travelling via TFL).
