My study leave event has been cancelled due to Covid-19 – am I still able to claim expenses?

If your event has been cancelled you should endeavour to obtain a refund for any expenses that have been pre-booked from either the event provider or your credit card company where relevant. If you are unable to obtain a refund then any outstanding expenses will be honoured. Please submit your claim to your trust via your usual local process with evidence that the expense is non-refundable.

During this period trainees may, in addition to regular study leave funding, use up to £200 of study leave funding towards additional Covid-related online/distance learning resources. All trainees will have access to these resources and this will also apply to Foundation Trainees. Please see here for full details:
