Spiral Leadership Toolkit

Modified on Fri, 06 Dec 2019 at 03:14 PM

The Spiral Leadership Toolkit has been designed by a joint steering group of trainees and educators for use by healthcare learners at all levels of training. The aim of the toolkit is to help all clinicians in training to develop and reflect on the key competencies in leadership and management required in the modern NHS.

The toolkit links theoretical knowledge and practical experience in management during training and seeks to put theory into practice over 8 key domains.

By using the toolkit in conjunction with reflective practice with supervisors and other faculty, learners can collate a coherent and comprehensive account of their leadership and management experience ready for substantive consultant or other senior posts within and across healthcare.
