If you feel you have previous experience demonstrable to the curriculum gained from non approved posts, it may mean that this has already given you some of the CCT curriculum competencies. If so, you may be able to enter training at a later stage and complete the rest of the programme, this is known as the CESR CP. Your previous experience must be assessed and confirmed no later than your first ARCP. You should discuss counting previous experience to training as soon as possible with your Training Programme Director.
