I am on an OOP, do I still need to have an ARCP?

All trainees enrolled in a training programme are required to have an ARCP at least one a year for revalidation purposes. If you have an ARCP whilst on an OOPC or OOPE, you only have to supply a form R and an OOP update form. You will then receive an Outcome 8 for your ARCP. If you are on an OOPR or OOPT that does NOT count towards your training, you again only need to submit a Form R and an OOP update form (for OOPRs, this is replaced by the academic progress report https://www.lpmde.ac.uk/training-programme/integrated-academic-training-acfs-and-cls/academic-arcps).

If you are on an OOPR or OOPT that DOES count towards your training, you will be expected to submit all evidence as normal for an ARCP (essentials being ESSR, MSF and form R). Your evidence will be reviewed by the panel, who will then assign a normal ARCP outcome (1-6).
