You should liaise with your employer and Foundation Training Programme Director to agree a suitable last working day. Please refer to Schedule 11 'Termination of Employment' within the Terms and Conditions of Service for NHS Doctors and Dentists in Training (England) 2016.

All trainees are required to work a period of notice as per their contract of employment. An employer has the right to refer trainees who do not work the appropriate notice period to the GMC.
