In order to be eligible to transfer under criterion 1 - 4, a change of circumstances must have already occurred. It must also have occurred after accepting an offer of a post in a training programme.
This is because vacancies available through the transfer process are limited and it is intended that these will be allocated to those trainees who need immediate support in transferring to a different geographical region.
The above does not apply as trainees are not required to demonstrate any change to personal circumstances and therefore an IDT can be requested for any reason that is not covered by criterion 1-4.
