What are the Patch ADs involvement in the F2 GP allocation process?

Modified on Wed, 26 Apr, 2023 at 11:01 AM

We have a list of Patch ADs which has been sent to all trusts and is also HERE. Please submit a ticket through PSP if you require their email address.

Trusts should manage their placements in a way that suits their local needs (this could involve discussing the allocations directly with trainees). Trusts will need to contact their practices to gauge availability and confirm trainee details, and ADs will be able to support by providing oversight of any specific requirements. Please note that Patch ADs do not assist with the allocation process; they can only provide information on the status of a Practice or trainer. Managing the placements locally means that trusts are better able to support linkages that work effectively for them and also their trainees, keeping their commuting time to under 90 minutes.
