I am currently Out of Programme or on maternity leave / sick leave - is it my responsibility to contact the Lead Employer before my return to training?

For trainees on maternity leave please note that you will be required to give a minimum of three (3) months notice of your intention to return to the training programme. This is so that the Lead Employers have sufficient time to complete your Pre-Employment checks and ensure that you are on the pay-roll.

For trainees Out of Programme for other reasons (e.g. OOPR) please note that you will be required to give a minimum of three (3) months notice of your intention to return to the training programme. This is so that the Lead Employers have sufficient time to complete your Pre-Employment checks and ensure that you are on the pay-roll.

For trainees on sick leave, you should provide as much notice as you are able too, although it is recognised that return dates are not always known well in advance.
