You should inform your employer as per their leave policy. You should also inform your Training Programme Director and Educational Supervisor as soon as possible. 8 weeks written notice is required and trainees should have a pre-return meeting with either their Educational Supervisor or Training Programme Director 8 weeks before their return to work.
