Any post that has a placement filled with a ‘Dr RECRUIT’ indicates that the training programme will not be filling the post with a trainee during the stated placement dates, and it will therefore be vacant. This is either for unplanned reasons or for programme balance (this will be indicated in the type of Recruit to post placement; a full list of reasons can be found in the Trust Portal User Guide Section 6. LEPs should therefore carry out their own local recruitment to fill this vacancy during the stated dates. Posts should not be recruited to locally beyond the stipulated end date.
Where a placement displays the instruction ‘RECRUIT’, does this mean that HEE LaSE are currently recruiting to the post or that the LEP should undertake local recruitment?
