Employers have committed to providing places as advertised. There may be legitimate occasions where an advertised place is no longer available. In situations where this happens, the employer may offer the student an alternative; if this is not suitable Health Education England or Wales (depending on the location of the programme) will endeavour to place the student in a suitable alternative place. Health Education England and Wales will endeavour to minimise the risks of places falling through. If an employer removes a place with no legitimate reason, they will be removed from the scheme in future.
What can successful applicants do if the employer moves them elsewhere from their preference choice at a later date?
