If an applicant has undergone clinical benchmarking previously would they need to be benchmarked again when applying for an ACF award?

NIHR ACF recruitment guidance states that all applicants would need to undergo clinical benchmarking (If they are not an NTN/DRN holder in the specialty) during the opening of round 1 recruitment in order to be eligible for an ACF award. If this applicant has previously undergone clinical benchmarking for an award but did not take up a post and is not currently in a specialty training programme, then they would be required to undergo the full recruitment process, including benchmarking, in order to be eligible for an ACF post.
