How should I plan my return to training?

Modified on Mon, 30 Nov, 2020 at 2:06 PM

Trainees should begin planning their return to training as soon as possible. All trainees should meet with their Educational Supervisor (ES) or Training Programme Director (TPD) approximately 8 weeks before their anticipated return date and complete a return-to-training form.  This should include a return to training plan considering whether trainees will require a phased return to work; less than full time training; enhanced supervision or a supernumerary period; coaching or mentoring and a plan forward to ARCP.
