I haven’t received a contract of employment: what should I do?

Modified on Tue, 2 Dec at 2:07 PM

As a Dental Foundation Trainee, please note that NHS England is not your employer and is therefore not responsible for issuing employment contracts.

Your contract of employment should be provided by your employer within eight weeks of your start date in post.

  • If you have not received your contract within this timeframe, you should contact your employer’s Medical Staffing or Human Resources department directly.

  • For trainees in Dental Foundation Training and Dental Foundation Longitudinal Core Training programmes in London or Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS), all contracts are issued by the Royal Free NHS Trust.

You should first raise any contract issues with your Lead Employer. If problems persist, please also notify us by submitting a ticket through the training portal.
