What ARCP paperwork do I need to submit if I'm on parental leave?

Modified on Wed, 11 Mar at 4:38 PM

If you're on parental leave while enrolled in a training programme, you are still required to engage with the Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) process for revalidation purposes.

What should I submit?

While on parental leave, you only need to submit:

  • Form R

You will then receive a ‘not assessed’ outcome for your ARCP.

Additional Guidance

Trainees are advised to liaise with their Training Programme Directors (TPDs) to ensure that an ARCP is scheduled and adjusted appropriately, if required, during their period of leave.
