In instances where trainees have already paid for courses which, due to the current circumstances, have been postponed to a date beyond the end of their programme (e.g. F2 trainees, trainees who will be on maternity leave/OOP, etc), we have agreed that such courses can be reimbursed in advance. Trainees should submit proof of payment when they submit their claims. Please indicate in the comments column on your monthly return if this is the reason a course has been reimbursed in advance, so as to avoid the claim being flagged by our validation team. Provided that the required evidence and justification are provided, reimbursement will apply to trainees of all Specialities and also to Foundation Trainees.
