The KSS Specialty Training Committee has highly recommended that trainees use LLP logbook, but not mandatory. If trainees choose to keep an independent, 3rd party logbook, that is fine, but if you are unable to present a logbook at ARCP for whatever reason, then you would receive an unfavourable outcome. If trainees use 3rd party logbook, info must be presented in same way as LLP logbook. It is the fault of the trainee if the logbook is lost or there is a technical fault. Therefore, the STC very strongly advises use of LLP logbook.
